ABOUT US
As a busy mom of three I decided it was time to start working from home instead of keeping up with the dayhomes and daily commutes into downtown Calgary to my job as a Projects Officer with Alberta’s Promise. I enjoyed my job and the creativity it inspired while working to develop new ideas with many corporate partners, but I felt it was time for a shift in focus. In 2013 Echo Sketch was born. I began to bring a dream to life by working in graphic design with many local Cochrane, AB companies, and families. In late 2013 I added a new dimension to the company and began administrative work and bookkeeping. I met many new faces along the way and they continued to inspire me to stretch my limits and abilities and to keep learning and exploring what I truly wanted. 2017 brought an unexpected move to our family and we now reside in Cranbrook, BC. We were nervous about a big move but the community welcomed us and we fell in love with Cranbrook and fully embraced the Kootenay lifestyle! I continued working with local East Kootenay stakeholders in the administrative and bookkeeping stream of the business, but had been feeling something was missing since our big move. The pandemic allowed me time to think and review all my business choices and goals, and I discovered I was really missing the creative outlet. So I decided 2021 would be the start of a new business goal while going back to my original business roots to get creative again in a whole new way!
